Our HOC Bar, also known as HOC Gauge or cutting height gauge, is ideal for precisely setting the cutting height (height of cut, HOC) on your reel mower.
Both the HOC bar and the special holder for the digital dial gauge ( 0 ~ 25.4 mm with a resolution of 0.01 mm ) are made of aluminium and powder-coated.
This way, you can adjust the cutting height, just like the professionals on the golf courses. Adjust your reel mowers very precisely.
We offer the HOC Bar in two lengths - 450 mm and 500 mm. Both are 60 mm wide and 10 mm thick.
- The cutting height is adjusted directly on the mower when it is tilted backwards.
- The front and rear rollers on which the Hoc Bar is placed serve as reference points.
- The measurement is taken at the leading edge of the lower blade. The measuring probe is placed on the inside of this edge.
- While you adjust the mower, the current cutting height is displayed digitally. You should adjust this (depending on the model of the reel mower, on both sides if possible).
Upon request, we now also offer the HOC Bar with a different measuring device.
